So this week was a whirlwind of events where I think I got one solid meal in the week. That is what becomes of a beauty addict. I was super honoured to be invited to the launch of Sobes new Ad campaign Sobe Naked.
I have been a customer in Sobe for a while now…. I like their attitude, they are a high end salon where you get five star service, something which I like to give and get. The feeling you get when you walk through the door is one of pleasure from the spacious salon to the friendly staff.
Network Cork is a group of like minded women that gather together in the name of business, in this occasion it was in the name of beauty and hair……. The PR powerhouse that is Deirdre Waldron is the Cork president and she kicked off with a speech about the year ahead. Maura Derrane was the MC on the night looking great in Red and really took the reigns while Pam gave a brilliant demo on hair. Roisin Hurley the art director from MAC took us all through a fantastic 60’s look. Dee Kelly Morgan was able to tell us how much to spend on our shapewear and Natasha Lynch from Essential French gave us all a little bit of Inspiration as she was Business woman of the year last year. The gorgeous hair models on the night were from Lockdown and the Dresses from The Dress Bar. Viv and Emer looked great as always and Stylist Pat Walker (who was recently sign to Andrea Roches agency) looked amazing as ever.
All in all it was a great night! I learned lots about product and hair styling. I think the highlight of the night was the announcement of the Dry Styling and Profiling hair bar where you can have your hair dry styled for €12.50……..a steal
