As someone that is beauty obsessed I would find it hard to go a week without buying something which as you can imagine can work out rather expensive. However recently I have been dallying around in the supermarkets and pharmacies and have found some excellent dupes for more expensive brands and best of all they are under a tenner. The exception for this is of course skincare which in order to get the best you must spend a little more.
First up Essence Brow stylists kit €3.09 is a must for every woman. Available in three shades its compact and has a small brush for precision application. Eyebrows are promising to be a big trend for Autumn Winter 13 so this little treasure will keep your brows perfectly arched.
Next we have the liquid liner winner and that goes to Rimmel Glam eyes. This liner is available in black or brown and gives a precision application particularly if you are a novice at applying it. You can build to a thicker line and it doesn’t budge.
Eyelashes are every gals best friend and the Kiss ones that Penneys have at the moment are great value. They retail at €3.50 and are perfect for two to three uses. I would suggest buying a different glue to go with them. Eyelure do a great one you can buy on its own for under €5.
Now for those of you that are shaky of hand the Essence nail tip painter is perfect for doing a French polish on your toes r fingers. The ultra -thin brush gives a great straight line to even the shakiest hand. At €2.49 you cannot go wrong.
Catrice do a concealer pallet which although is not suitable for under the eyes is great for hiding blemishes thread veins and high colouring. The best under eye concealer is Rimmel perfect match which offers my magic formula of 50 per cent illumination and 50 per cent coverage.
Last but not least we have the handbag hero that is Batiste dry shampoo a fantastic hair refresher and volume booster. I use when my roots need doing as for a blonde gal it hide a multitude.
Until next week stay beautiful x
