Getting old

A few things occurred to me today the first of which was when I was doing the grocery shopping and was putting things into the trolley and later packing them just as my mother would have. Next up was spending an afternoon cleaning the bathrooms and writing pieces for various publications as well as replying to emails .. Gone are the days of all day hangovers And Sunday night recovery.. As I write this I’ve just finished reading yesterday’s The Guardian newspaper and am listening to Sade. I’ve smothered myself in anti ageing serums and eye creams! Yes I’m getting old ! No doubt!
