Dove Body Oil

I stand corrected. I was utterly skeptical about Dove Body oil. I’d watched the adverts and sighed to myself. To be honest I find that a lot of times the supermarket brands don’t do it for me. I can’t explain why. Anyway on a recent shopping trip to boots I tried the tester of this. My hand felt soft and yes not greasy. I went about my business of picking up what I had gone in there for … That mainly being after sun and plasters. Anyway I digress.. While I filled my basket with every sundry possible I went back and acquired this.

The Shea and warm vanilla isn’t overly sweet as you might expect the smell is pleasant and the finish nice. I wouldn’t recommend wearing the product with silk, however it is easily absorbed and non sticky. It leaves your skin baby soft and the effect of the shimmer is nice and not glittery, more of a sheen.

A little goes a long way and judging by the way oils are going, we’ve seen delicious offerings by Roger and Gallet and No7 have recently launched a cleansing oil with Shiseido promising a launch in early October for their oil.

Dove is priced at under €12, for 150mls. A great price and yes a great product. It had no adverse effect on my psoriasis either which is always great, in fact it acted quite well as scented products go. Worth a buy. Absolutely. Perfect for the winter as well as the summer. I used it as an after sun making my usual Soltan one redundant.
