A little late to the party on the Urban Decay front … Since the original Naked Pallet nothing has really caught my eye until this.
Every brand from masstige straight up to prestige has launched some form of pallet in 2015. Hardcore make up fans have bought them all. I’ve been a little more restrained for a number of reasons .. Firstly I get sent a lot of product … And as I blog purely as a hobby there is only so much I can do. Normally I run a mile from collabs with celebrity , but this one I found intriguing. Because I love Gwen and her style I hit Debenhams on Chrussd eve and as always received excellence in service and advice.
For Christmas Day I did a smoky purple eye using ,punk steady and bath water and in the tear duct blonde. Overall the pallet contains a good mixture of both matte and sparkly.
For Christmas Eve I went for a black smoky look. Using blackout baby and pop the shadows blend well and are of excellent quality.
I’m pretty sure I will get more use from this pallet during the day. There’s a good selection of highlight colours and although the pink and blue are unusual I intend to to create a special look with them. The pink if blended properly could make a great blush on the apples of your cheeks. Lots of the colours are highlighter compatible too. The next look I’m going to create and blog about will be the Marilyn Look with a matte suble eye and a red lip. This is kind of Gwens look too… And as a vintage lover I’m a fan too.
Retails at €42 it’s well worth it , it’s versatile and good quality
