Flirty Flapjacks

What makes these flapjacks flirty? Well firstly they contain no raisins because let’s face it raisins are the devils droppings. Secondly they have nuts and we all know that nuts are the start of a magnificent oaty treat. Then add the food of love chocolate chips and really you just wanna take them home and devour them.

Ingredients:
500g of Oats
1/2 Cup of Pecans ( you could use almonds or hazelnuts too)
1/2 Cup of mixed chocolate chips ( I buy a pack of each dark milk and white and keep the rest in a jar they are cheap as chips ) if you wanted to be extra posh you could break up dark chocolate.
100g of Soft brown sugar
350g of butter
3 tablespoons of golden syrup
1 tablespoon of peanut butter

Method
Mix oats nuts choc chips together
Heat the butter sugar golden syrup and nut butter in the hob. Once melted combine the ingredients and press neatly ( to ensure they bind correctly ) into a dish or tray. Baked for 30 ish mins at 170c ( you know your own oven best ) and then leave to cook and cut. They last in an airtight container well but are slightly addictive. No need to put them in the fridge.
