You know that feeling when you try a product and it just gets it right straight out of the gate? That’s exactly what happened when I got my hands on the new Line + Define Eyeliners from et al..

These liners are buttery soft, almost gel-like in texture, and glide on with zero tugging — which is exactly what you want, especially if you’re tightlining or working into the waterline. Whether you’re doing a sleek feline flick or just a bit of lash-line smudging for that lived-in glam, these perform beautifully. They set quickly (but not too quickly), giving you time to blend if you want that smoky softness, or definition if you’re going for sharp drama.

The pigment? Rich. The finish? Impressive. And the staying power? Let’s just say I put them through their paces on a long day and they did not budge.

I’ve been a huge fan of the et al. foundation for a while now — I always get compliments when I wear it — and if the liners are anything to go by, this brand is going from strength to strength. There’s a real skin-first, planet-conscious ethos behind everything they do, and I’m here for it.

With 7 wearable, suit-all shades from jet black to forest green and warm burgundy, this range really does have something for everyone. A little swipe can transform your whole look. I only trialled the Chesnut and Cocoa colours as press samples but I’m definitely going to add more to my collection.
