In a world that’s constantly selling us more, I’m always struck by brands that choose to give instead. This summer, Clarins is doing just that — not just with beauty, but with purpose.
Through their global partnership with Mary’s Meals, Clarins is helping to combat child hunger and support education in some of the world’s poorest communities. For every specially branded Mary’s Meals tote bag received (available with the purchase of any two Clarins products), the brand will fund 10 school meals for children across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
That’s more than just skincare — that’s a tangible impact.
Clarins first began its fight against child malnutrition in 2011. Now, in 2024, they’ve deepened their commitment with this dedicated international partnership. The initiative is running throughout the summer at Brown Thomas, Arnotts, and Clarins Boutique & Spa on Wicklow Street, Dublin, where shoppers can receive a limited-edition tote along with 3 complimentary travel-size products.
Mary’s Meals is one of the most respected school-feeding charities in the world — providing over 2.4 million children with meals every school day. What struck me most is how something so small — a meal — can have a compounding effect: encouraging education, building resilience, and creating opportunity.
As someone who works in the health and beauty space, I often think about what nourishment really means — not just for the skin, but for the soul. This campaign is a timely reminder that beauty, at its best, is about care. Not just for ourselves, but for each other.
